Welcome
Hi, I’m Julie
As a homeschooling mother of 5 children, there has been no shortage of crafts, art projects, beautifully illustrated books, and educational resources in our house.
As a creative type, I have always loved classical literature, art, and music. And because of that, our homeschool education is heavily inspired by the greats. It is my fervent belief that our minds, hands, and souls long to be inspired by beautiful things!
Living as a single-income household we exist on a small budget. That means a real need to create resources for myself as a general rule. But I also love sharing the things I create with others, too!

Where “Once Upon A Printable” began
I’ve always loved old books and a few particular ones became borderline an obsession. I started my collection as a child perusing the library book sales. Every beautiful copy of Alice in Wonderland I found and, naturally, every old original Nancy Drew and Bobbsey Twin.
As an avid artist, I paid particular attention to the book illustrations. Eventually, a pattern emerged and my list started to fill with artists from the 1800s. Those who were considered masters in their day and age. Artists like Arthur Rackham, Beatrix Potter, Milo Winter, Jesse Wilcox Smith, Detmold, and many more.
