FAQ

If you’ve made it to this page chances are you’re experiencing trouble accessing the printables! Let’s fix that!

Printable Access FAQ

Every post contains its own free printable download. Within each post, you’ll find a sign-up box just like the one below. Simply enter your name (first name is fine), a valid email address, and click the “Grab My Printable” button.

On desktop, the PDF file should open automatically in your browser or PDF viewer. On mobile devices, you may be redirected to Google Drive and asked to choose an account in order to view or save the file.

Occasionally, through no fault of yours or mine, certain email providers may block or reject sign-up forms. If you receive an error message, please double-check that both fields are filled out correctly and that your email address is valid. If the issue continues, try using a different email address or email provider (i.e. hotmail, gmail, etc).

The “Subscriber Library” is not a separate locked page — it’s the site itself. Each printable on the site is available through its own sign-up form.

General FAQ

If you subscribed but aren’t receiving emails, first check your spam, junk, promotions, or updates folders. Occasionally, email providers may block or filter emails automatically.

Be sure you entered your email address correctly when signing up. If possible, try adding the site email address to your contacts or safe sender list.

If you still are not receiving emails, try subscribing again with a different email address or email provider.

By downloading printables from Once Upon a Printable, you are agreeing to receive occasional email updates from me (typically about once a week). These emails may include newly released freebies, paid products, podcast updates, seasonal collections, and other site news.

If you unsubscribe from the mailing list but later download another printable using your email address, you will be automatically resubscribed, since each download form functions as a new subscription request.

If you no longer wish to receive emails, the only option is simply not submit your email address through future download forms.

New printables are released as they are completed rather than on a strict schedule. Some projects can take weeks — or even months — to research, restore, design, write, edit, and assemble, especially larger collections, unit studies, or themed printable packs.

Because of this, releases may vary from week to week, but new content is added regularly throughout the year. Subscribers are always the first to hear about new freebies, shop releases, podcast updates, and seasonal collections.

Once Upon a Printable has always been built around making creativity, learning, and beautiful resources accessible to as many people as possible, which is why a large portion of the site is offered free to subscribers.

At the same time, many projects require a tremendous amount of time and work behind the scenes — including researching, writing, editing, restoring vintage artwork, illustrating, designing, formatting, recording podcast episodes, website hosting, and creating larger in-depth collections or unit studies.

Paid products help support the continued creation of free printables and allow me to keep expanding the site, podcast, and future projects while continuing to share new resources with the community.

All printables, resources, activities, artwork restorations, and collections on Once Upon a Printable are personally created, researched, designed, edited, or assembled by Julie Boston.

The site is deeply inspired by classic children’s literature, vintage illustration, nature study, old-fashioned learning, storytelling, creativity, and handmade living. Many projects involve extensive research, restoration of public domain artwork, writing, formatting, and original design work behind the scenes before they are ever released.

Once Upon a Printable is a constantly growing creative project that blends education, storytelling, art, imagination, and cozy old-world inspiration into printable resources for families, educators, readers, and fellow lovers of storybook worlds.

Podcast FAQ

Once Upon a Storytime Podcast can be listened to directly through the website and is also available on major podcast platforms as episodes are released. Availability may vary depending on the platform and release schedule.

Podcast updates and new episode announcements are typically shared through the email list and on the site.

All stories, poems, books, and literary works featured on Once Upon a Storytime Podcast are carefully selected from public domain works, particularly classic children’s literature and vintage stories that can legally be shared, adapted, and discussed.

Absolutely. Suggestions and requests are always welcome. While I cannot guarantee that every request will become a future episode or printable collection, I genuinely love hearing what stories, themes, literary worlds, nature topics, holidays, or educational ideas listeners and readers would enjoy seeing explored in the future.
