Additional Activities to Enrich the Unit

1. G Is for Garden
If possible, grow a small herb or grass indoors. Kids can water it, measure its growth, and label it with a big G!
2. Grape Stamping
Use real or paper grapes to “stamp” letter G shapes or patterns—great for creativity and fine motor practice.
3. Goat-Themed Role Play
Reenact Three Billy Goats Gruff using simple masks or headbands. Encourage kids to bleat like goats and practice their G words.
4. Gem Hunt
Hide “gems” (colored beads or plastic jewels) around the room, and have children search for them, calling out “G!” when found.
