Step Two – Cut Out Your Tags

My favorite way to get precise, clean cuts is with a paper guillotine. Especially if you have large amounts of cards to cut out, like an entire class.

Step Three – It’s All in the Bag

Even though these make a great fun non-candy Valentine all on their own, nothing is stopping you from adding a few treats with it!

Option 1 – In the Bag

Add a tic-tac-toe game card to a plastic bag. Include a few pieces of candy to use as game pieces. (Other options include: clear treat bags, cellophane bags, or any clear bags).

Option 2 – On Top of the Bag

Use your Valentine’s Day tic-tac-toe card as a bag topper after putting 10-12 small pieces of candy inside.

Option 3 – On the Bag

Create a charming Valentine’s Day gift by filling a bag with themed candies and favors, such as colorful pencils and pens. Punch a hole in your cards and use a piece of ribbon to tie up the bag, turning your game card into a delightful gift tag!

Option 4 – No Bag!

The easiest option is to use double-sided tape to attach a delicious flavor of Tic Tacs directly onto the Tic-Tac-Toe card.

Fun Candy Ideas for Valentine’s Day Favors

There are a lot of options for game pieces to play Valentine tic-tac-toe like stickers, a pencil, or even washi tape. But the best option to pull together these cute Valentines is to pair them with candy. These are just some of my favorites.

How to Play Valentine’s Day Tic-Tac-Toe

Basic Rules

The classic game unfolds with the first player strategically placing a symbol “x”, heart, or candy piece on the game card. The second player then takes their turn, aiming to create a line of three in a row.

The Objective of the Game

In this timeless game, the first player strives to achieve a winning combination, while the second player works to block their opponent and form their own triumphant line.

It’s a delightful and classic way to enjoy some Valentine’s Day fun!
