How to Play with Valentine’s Day Bingo Cards

Valentine’s Bingo is a fun game to play with friends and family on Valentine’s Day. It’s easy to learn and can be played with any number of players. Here’s a guide on how to play Valentine’s Bingo.

Basic Rules

Distribute unique cards to each player.
Choose someone to announce the numbers, images, or words.
Use markers to cover called numbers, images (heart, cupid, etc), or words.
Decide the winning pattern (line, X, full card). Traditionally the options would be, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
The caller announces numbers, images, or words randomly.
Players mark called numbers on their cards.
The first to complete the chosen pattern and yell “Bingo!”, wins.
If multiple players yell “Bingo!” at the same time, the game ends in a tie.
Verify the win, clear cards, and continue for more rounds!

Variations of Play

Though traditional Bingo is all the rage, sometimes it might be fun to try out something new. For Bingo with a spin give these ideas a try.

Four Corners: Players only need to mark off the four corners of their bingo card to win.

Blackout: Players must mark off every image or word on their bingo card to win.

Letter X: Players must mark off the diagonal lines forming an X on their bingo card to win.

Picture Frame: Players must mark off all the images or words around the edges of their bingo card to win.

Love Letter: Instead of traditional bingo images or words, players use letters to spell out words related to Valentine’s Day, such as “LOVE” or “HEART”.

With these basic rules and variations of play, you can customize the game to fit your needs and have a fun-filled game night.

Using Alternate Markers

If you opt for a permanent bingo chip, such as a dot marker or sticker, ensure your bingo cards are laminated first. This will allow stickers to easily peel off, and markers to wipe away.
